How to do super brain yoga or thoppukarnam

Super brain yoga, also known as thoppukarnam, is a simple exercise that involves crossing the arms and legs and then squatting down and standing up repeatedly. It is believed to help improve mental clarity, focus, and overall brain function.


Here are the steps to perform super brain yoga or thoppukarnam:


Stand up straight with your feet shoulder-width apart.


Take your right earlobe with your left thumb and index finger, and take your left earlobe with your right thumb and index finger.


Cross your left arm over your right arm in front of your chest, so that your left hand is holding your right earlobe and your right hand is holding your left earlobe.


Make sure your left arm is inside your right arm.

Squat down slowly while exhaling, keeping your hands in the same position.


Stand up slowly while inhaling, still keeping your hands in the same position.


Repeat steps 4 and 5 for a total of 14 times, while breathing slowly and deeply.


Release your hands and stand up straight, with your feet shoulder-width apart.


Super brain yoga or thoppukarnam can be done at any time of the day, but it is recommended to do it in the morning on an empty stomach.
