What to consider when doing Yoga Practices for Best Results?

1. Time

As we discussed, the mornings are the best. Sunrise time is especially recommended. The morning is best between 5 and 7 AM. This is best time as, you feel active because the air is fresh.

2. Place of practice

Choose a clean and quiet place. It can be in your home or outdoor, like in a park or a yoga place. Make sure you are comfortable in the space and can fully focus on your practice.

Avoid practicing in places where there are many insects that can distract your attention, also from direct sunlight, or cold wind.

3. Yoga Accessories

Accessories will make your practice smooth and comfortable. Get yourself a great yoga mat that enables you to practice poses as well as meditate comfortably.

Some other tools such as blocks, belts, rocks and blankets help you make poses easier. These are useful for beginners, the elderly, and those with physical problems.

4. Clothes

Make sure you are wearing moderately fit and comfortable clothing that does not restrict your movement and helps you move easily.

Remove any objects from your body, such as watches, glasses, earrings and any other disturbing jewellery.

5. Sequence order

Start with asanas, and then do pranayama and meditation. This will make your body ready for meditation. Asana prepares you physically and Pranayama prepares you mentally for meditation. Awareness increases at each step, helping you to meditate more effectively.

Caution

Depending on the age and ability of the person, individual yoga should be designed for that person. It is not recommended to follow the standard yoga format without consulting.
