Be with your kids, they need you today.


Most of the parents and kids don’t have family meal together. They don’t spend quality time with each other. But this is exactly what the kids need often. Start your day 20 minutes earlier in the morning so you can eat breakfast with your kids and bless them for their day ahead. Forget about the dishes in the sink someday and take a walk after dinner. Kids who aren't getting the attention they want from their parents develop a habit of distracting and doing some mess around, because they do want to catch your attention.

Do something new and creative to engage your child with you. Teach them household work by asking their help in your day to day work, engage them in positive talks, listen to their stories undivided, and while doing your work spend quality time.

Teenagers need more undivided attention from their parents than young ones. As they have less time because of their growing responsibilities, and hormonal changes happening both at the same age. Parents should then be more responsible, involve teens in family activities, let them give their suggestions, accept it open heartedly. Help them grow on all levels. Respect their point of views. Be friend with them than a parent.

Discus with them about their friends, with positive intentions, mind you they are now grown ups, they can judge you better than as a kids here before. Be focused, don’t interfere, just guide. Make them aware of the outer world, the ups and downs that will be in their way as they grow, and much more.
